Chase was a lifesaver. It was my family’s first time to Corolla and we were not prepared to drive on beach. North Beach Recovery was recommended and rightly so. Chase met up with us within minutes of us reaching out to him transported us to our vacation rental, while doing so he gave us the lay of the land and a brief history of Corolla. He also provided us a loner 4x4 vehicle and valeted our non... 4x4 vehicle for the duration of our stay. He was also available anytime we needed him throughout the trip. Second time that Chase has helped me out. I got myself stuck in an empty lot that looked like grass from the road but was in fact just dry sand. I already knew who to call. He’s quick and efficient. I’d recommend North Beach Recovery for anyone in need of a tow, a pull out, or other roadside issues!!

Locked our keys in the trunk of our Camry. Called every locksmith near Corolla and most of them didn't answer, the ones who did said it was impossible since Camry's trunk can only be open with the key, or if the car is started. One guy came out and couldn't do anything for us.Then, Chase drove an hour to get to us, even though he said it might not work out, but he had the trunk open within 20... minutes.Saved our lives! Awesome experience all around. Busted a coolant line near the on/off ramp of carova and gave them a call. Showed up in under 5 minutes and towed us up to the local convenient shop. To our luck he had the part we needed to fix the issue and lent us some tools to finish the job while he went off to help some others back on the beach. We got a flat tire in our rental while out to dinner in OBX. Our rental company was less than helpful, even AAA. When I called North Beach Recovery, they were very nice and let us know they could help us. Chase came fairly quickly and patched our tire in less than 15 mins. We are so thankful for Chase and his help!

We had an issue with our SUV on Easter Sunday. My wife contacted Chase and he was very responsive. We were able to bring our SUV to his place that same day, and he had it checked out and on our way in no time. We are happy to have discovered Chase and North Beach Towing. I went out to start my car as I had to take my Mom to a doctor's appointment. Car was completely dead. Called AAA and they gave me a timeframe of an hour (which I ended up canceling). While waiting, I found the North Beach Recovery website and called. Chase answered the phone immediately and was at my house within 10 minutes. He got my car started and said he would get a new battery for me... later that day. Thanks to Chase, we made our doctor appointment on time. That evening Chase was back at the house with a new battery and installed it right there in my driveway. I have never had such great service from any roadside assistance. Chase is super efficient and friendly. He took a very stressful situation and made it very easy to deal with. Thank you, Chase.read more

Chase, CJ and Rhonda were wonderful getting our large group back to our house on the 4 x 4 beach after debris on the beach punctured my friends’ truck tires. They then helped us off the beach when we needed to get back to the rental agency. They were friendly and shared helpful information about beach driving.

We had rented a house on Corolla and once there found our vehicles were not going to be able to handle the beach drive. Chase was awesome. He took our group (8) and all our belongings to the rental and picked us up for the return trip. He also parked our cars for the duration. He was pleasant and professional.

Chase rescued us when our starter died way up the 4x4 beach. Came to our aid immediately & was incredibly helpful & courteous. When we were in a crunch because it being the end of our stay, he brought out Ram 1500 ALL the way to Chesapeake to a garage open Sundays. I wish every service company had this type of ethics & customer service!

I am so thankful for this company. I had rented a car from a car company that said it was 4WD. Turns out it was 2WD. We called the company and Chase was there in a matter of minutes. There was no long wait time, no rude customer service like 99% of towing companies. He got my car out in a matter of minutes and drove me and my two dogs (poor guy) to my rental property with zero complaints. I felt... so bad about having two dogs having to tag along but he did not bat an eye. He drove me and my sister back to our property and we had a great conversation! Even at 1am, everyone who was out was waving to him and stopping him to say hello. He is genuinely a world class guy. If you are ever in need to use any towing service, look no further. I can’t say enough good things about Chase. Most towing companies are not personable and don’t explain anything. Chase took the time to really help me understand the situation I was in and what was important. I was extremely stressed and to have my car towed did not help that stress. Chase was able to lighten the mood and ease the stress I was having. Again, can’t recommend him more.

My husband got in a jam with a bent valve core after airing down to go on the beach. North Beach Recovery saved us an hour plus drive and met us with a new valve core just minutes from the house we were renting. Great guys and were very helpful on air pressure guidance before going on the beach.

Chase was fantastic. We needed transportation out of our 4x4 Beach rental. We had a large group with a lot of stuff. He was prompt, friendly and helped with loading and unloading all our stuff. I would definitely recommend North Beach Recovery and will definitely use them again if we stay in the 4x4 area.

My son used my car for senior week… 26 hrs into the trip he totaled my car. Chase was so helpful during this very scary process. My son neglected to take out my EZ pass and a spare key for one of our other cars. I spoke with Chase, he checked the car and found the items!! Chase is a life saver! My son’s truck broke down in Corolla and they happened to run into Chase. He took his car and worked on it(fixed it) as it broke an axle. He worked long hours on a weekend and even AAA and their garages couldn’t get to it. Other garages said 2 weeks! But Chase. He has been honorable, and helpful and just an answer to literal prayer.

Chase Davenport is a very respectful and helpful man. I recommend their service over any. If you need towing srvc call here hands down. Again, Chase is the best tow srvc hire I’ve ever had. Even if it’s to get a boost while on Corolla beach;)

Chase was great. He came out to the house my Jeep was broken down at in Carova. We were able to troubleshoot the electrical issues together and actually got it started. His assistance actually lost him a tow! But it shows you what a great guy he is! Definitely call Chase for whatever auto needs you have when in Corolla or the 4WD beach!

My suggestion is dont put yourself in a situation for a need to get towed in Corolla and if so call Jarvis!!! North Beach Recovery is just a front for chop shop highway robbery.

I want to thank Chase for coming to our rescue! We sold a lot in Corova and there was over two dozen tires of all sizes dumped there along with a twisted metal trailer. Chase was able to clear the debris way before closing. Chase - Thank you so much! Outer Banks Realty Solutions

While visiting the North end of the Outer Banks, a tire on my Honda CRV sprang a leak. So I called North Beach Recovery, and Chase came out shortly. He diagnosed a broken tire valve core, which he promptly replaced. Very impressed with their friendly and competent service.

Chase was very professional. We were at corova beach on 10-2-21 the morning was wonderful we enjoyed helping with the beach clean up this year. Got to meet some of the nicest people too. As we were leaving the beach our transmission went out. Chase checked on us several times (we found him through a friend Buck Rice of Aylett Tire Inc. In VA) so grateful he wouldn’t leave us. Chase took over and... promised he would get us out ASAP and he did. Got us and our truck to a nice safe place until relatives could get to us. Chase has call us since getting home to ask how we are doing…..Chase, we hope to see you again under better circumstances!!!!!read more

My husband and I recently got a new Jeep gladiator. We had put the car in 4WD. We started driving on the beach. We immediately got stuck, where a nice young gentleman came to see if we needed help. We had the Jeep in 4L where he said we needed to be in 4H. We tried to change it but it seemed to be "stuck" in 4L. There was no changing it. He helped call over Chase who worked with North Beach... Recovery. Chase got in our car with confidence and forced it into 4H. No charge and super nice. He was very nice and funny at that. I highly recommend using this guy!read more

We had just picked up our rental car, when we got home we realized the Chevy Suburban we rented was 2wd and not 4wd like we had requested! The property manager of the home we rented put us in touch with Chase to use his taxi service. But Chase did better. He offered to rent us his jeep for the week, after hearing of our circumstances. We were able to secure another rental, even though every place... had already closed. By the grace of God someone answered their phone at 5pm on Saturday, just 10 hours before our planned departure. Chase is just a kind kind human being. We were so grateful for his offer to help us and our daughter get to our much needed vacation. The driver was very nice but only moved us a couple feet and we then were able to drive ourselves. I asked at the beginning how much it would cost and the question was ignored. He then charged us $395 to move three feet; it took him less than ten minutes between pulling over, talking to us and moving us.I called a competitor A-1 after to see how much they charge and they informed me it would... have been $180. Eight of us took advantage of the taxi service for a round trip dinner night out from 7 miles up the 4x4 beach to a restaurant in Corolla . Chase was our driver and proved to be a true gentleman and professional . He provided us safe and reliable transportation and didn’t mind sharing some of hisIntimate knowledge of the North Beach area his experiences . We got stuck right during the tornado warning, rain was strong, our Denali was just 2 WD, people tried to help us twice but no progress. I called a local tow company but they couldn’t assist, however, they recommended I call Recovery Crew, they arrived during the storm within 20 minutes the most, it took the gentleman about 5 minutes to get us back on the road, very reliable company, would... recommend them anytime. I needed North Beach towing in February 2021. It was dark, sea foam on the beach. A call was made & very quickly a tow truck with Chase Jr arrived. My savior! Can I give a sixth star? Threw the bead on my F250 Super Duty on July 4th. Called Chase and he was there in about 15 minutes, used his boom to lift my truck and we had the bead reseated and re-inflated in about 8 minutes. Great service by him and his son - his card is going in the glove box!

Casey (I think that was his name) couldn’t have been better. He truly saved us the minute we arrived in Corolla for our 4th of July vacation and we locked out keys in car with our luggage and groceries. This company is amazing! I have never experienced service like this before. I truly appreciate the tow this past weekend when the radiator in our truck broke going down the beach and you hauled it to the local mechanic. Then the awesome sticker was the icing on the cake. Saved Us 8 Hours!
These guys saved us at least 8 hours of driving. We were harassed at another Corolla and Cordova parking company when we attempted to park our RV there for a week. When we decided we weren’t going to give that company our money, we called up North Beach at 4 pm on a Sunday afternoon and they found a spot for our 28 foot camper. They were professional, personable, and enjoyable to work with. I’ll only park our camper with them in the future!
